What is the Adoption Center of Washington?
The Adoption Center of Washington is a non-profit, child-placing agency licensed in the District of Columbia and Virginia. The agency's purpose is to provide families for children who have an adoption plan made for them and to provide valuable medical or supportive services to children in orphanages who cannot be adopted.
How will the proceeds be used?
All proceeds from this auction will provide for care of Russian, Vietnamese, and Chinese orphans awaiting their forever families. The Adoption Center of Washington facilitates international adoptions with these countries.
What is going to happen at the event?
The event includes a loud and silent auction, tempting dessert reception and a cash bar. Live music will be provided. The auctioneer is TBA.

Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 7:00pm -10pm.
How much are tickets and how can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are $25 (single) and $175 (for a party of ten). Please call 703-549-7774 or visit our Auction web site to purchase tickets. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
Where is the auction and how do I get there?
Location: The Congressional Ballroom of the Renaissance Hotel at 999 Ninth Street in Washington DC. Map
Parking: The Renaissance Hotel offers on-site parking at $22 per day. There are also several parking garages near-by. Street parking may also be available.
Metro: The Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stop is approximately 2 blocks from the hotel.
